Taking little caravaning road trips during your holidays in southern France is a great way to explore the many touristic sites that our Languedoc region has to offer. Portiragnes is one well known cities of the region for family vacations, but a few others towns are just a few minutes away : Vias, Valras, Cap d’Agde, Béziers. Those places are great destinations to go spend one day or two with your family or your friends during your stay in southern France. You are free to drive where you want with your camping-car, and you will not run out of places and coast to explore during your camping holidays in south of France.
Park your caravan in the best southern france campsite
The 5 star Mimosas campsite offers all the services you’ll need for your caravan holidays in France. No less than 400 camping pitches from 80 m² to 100 m² each, some with more shades than others, are available to park your camping-car / caravan, or to plant your tent. They all include electrical connections, WiFi, and water fountains in all the isles.
Our caravan site has 3 big sanitary blocks kept perfectly clean, but you can also rent a private fridge or sanitary unit for your camping pitch (toilet, shower, sink and hair dryer), just like home. Camper van owners have a camper van service point at their disposal (drinking water refill, emptying chemical / standard toilet and waste water).

Choose which camping pitch would be best suited for your camping holidays (size and shades) among our 400 pitches for your caravan / camping-car or tent. Once you’ll have your camping-car parked in our campsite, you’ll be able to access our facilities. A bar-restaurant “The Kraken” with a pool view with many dishes (meat, fish, pizzas, salad, ice cream) to enjoy there or as a take-away to your pitch, cottage terrace or on your road-trips in your camping-car along the mediterranean coast.
A shop inside the campsite is also at your disposal where you’ll be able to get fresh bread, meat, fruits, pastries, newspapers, souvenirs… Everything to make your camping holidays in the south of France practical.
If you want to let your caravan in the pitch and go for a bike ride with your family and friends, you will be able to hire bycicles at the reception of the Mimosas campsite and go hiking to visit the mediterranean cost, beach resorts, the vineyards…
