Portiragnes is a homelike resort located in the department of Hérault and in the region of Languedoc Roussillon. The town of Portiragnes is located along a nature reserve " Nature reserve of Roque Haute", the Canal du Midi runs through it and it is near a large fine sand beach separated from the urban zone by a screen of plants covering the restored dunes.
It is the big blue sea with its quiet and warm waters. But above all, it is a homelike resort on a human scale where concrete remains sober and that knew how to protect its environment.

Your 3-star campsite "Les Mimosas" borders the canal along which Port Cassafieres is a stopover or even a departure point to get an original discovery of this famous Canal du Midi. In the middle of the sunniest regions (region of Languedoc Roussillon), walkers and riders are privileged in this green resort, the environment has priority and is a richness that has to be protected to share at best this spot of little Camargue with its ducks, herons and pink flamingos. Very near Cap d’Agde is a famous diving spot, traditions are also presented during the summer celebrations (ex: jousts in Sète, bullfights in Béziers).

They have to park on the car park and go to the campsite reception when they arrive. They will be given a wristband. They can't go to the water space of the campsite. For your security, you must wear the wristband within the campsite during all your stay. Traffic is forbidden between 11.00 P.M and 6.00 A.M .
